It took the Team literal years to look into the issues posted in the DLC 16 bugs topic, I'm sure people will be willing (or at least able) to wait a few days . However, they have given me leave to provide the mdm for beta, if folks would like to try it out. If so, let me know, and I can pm you the link once I have it! Which random event was added in? The one with Miya and the Blanket? Because that one was explicitly written for Y2, as was the one about the puppet show.
