If a Mastery wizard was discovered to have taken over a town, how would that situation be dealt with? militarily?

Can a wizard *erhem* assume direct control of more than one person at a time? or is it only possible to make extra people carry out commands...?

Is it possible to get training similar to the elemental warriors, without the 'joining the military' connotations?

have wizards made airships invisible (stealth ships, hehe) or is that a bad idea tm due to possible interference with the magic that holds them in the air?

Almost certainly, yes.

As far as is known, not usually direct control of more than one person...

Is it possible to get training similar to the elemental warriors, without the 'joining the military' connotations?

Yes, if you have enough wealth.

It is not done due to the dangers of interference. That's not to say it hasn't been attempted, or carried out successfully, but there are a lot of attendant risks.

I imagine the main reason there aren't any/many omni-disciplinarian groups is how difficult it is to be truly good at several pillars. Perhaps possible for talented individuals but I can see how they'd break down once the founding teacher dies/leaves. If it's not hands on teaching then you could say the Academagia itself is omni-disciplinarian as it teaches all the legal disciplines, and there are teachers who excel in more than one Pillar.

The key to forming an omnidisciplinarianism class is teaching it in spurts that can be absorbed by all the students, and also having some of the initial coursework for the individual pillars already known by making any two or more pillar classes prerequisites to it. That way the students can teach each other the basic phemes and whatnot with only minimal time spent by the teacher on that, so that you can focus on teaching them the specific pheme combinations of multipillar magic and filling in holes of knowledge, rather than imparting it wholly.

Oh I am sure there is more Omnimaster than the legate wants to admit but they do not achieve such proficiency in just 5 year more like the standart d&d style of 50+ more study to become an archmage.

and Salvatore is the mage in the Vernin (best college evah) adventure right ? I hope to see more of him in year 2

Salvatore di Cossa being able to Master a Dragon,

I thought the legate said that only Kazuz achieved such a feat and on a baby on top of that. If Salvatore is the mage i think he is then he only said he wanted to dominate dragon (because human supremacy blah blah), we don't know if he can do it.

A question: Can we have the college of thos marvelous bi-pillar masters ? i guess Salvatore is from Vernin which will be interesting

As my playthroughs don't typically uncover these things in their profiles, the exams are not 100% foolproof, and the wiki is blank on them, can you tell us legate, what classes the new kids take?

for v1.7 of my gradebook.

1) Are there also Licensed Gate Mages who are still allowed to learn and use a subset of Gate Magic?

2) Are the year 2 relations core magic skill to specialisation Skills similar as Mastery to Synchronicity? (I mean that it only covers a very specific part of the core Magic skill but doing better in this)

On 1 I doubt it, because of the chaos factor.

on 2 I was curious about that too. Synchronicity is not an easy skill to learn. Even with 12 insight and intelligence it is.... hard.

On one hand I want to learn it because it is seemingly capable of most of the beneficial aspects of Mastery, but on the other I don't like the idea of doing it the legal way because it makes you even more vulnerable to the whims of the state.

I'd like to ask if a Mastery trace magic test will test positive on a person if they've been using Synchronicity and if so what would that mean to the student involved? Technically its used at least once by the player before the mark is applied so if that was found out by certain authorities.....

On 1: Do items enchanted with Gates carry the same Chaos factor, or can they be used safely given a skilled user? (I imagine the answer is "no")

On 2: Selective Focus really helps with learning Sync. To the point where I think the skill's training modifier or assigned attribute might be bugged. With 12 Insight Instinct/Serenity take 2 SS for SL1. With Selective Focus active it takes 0, which normally only happens to skills with a training modifier of 1. Read: Serenity and Instinct should be as easy to learn as Library Knowledge.

If you go through An Outing... and get the Master's Mark you should become a recognised student, if not an outright "member", of Nhordum's family, so you won't face authorities alone. Mind, they're liable to harass you even more than the authorities are, given that the PC is learning faster than they're used to and at such a young age to boot, but you can be sure that what they'll do is in everyone's best interest, not just the PC's - Ethics is one of their main principles, after all.

If you never go through An Outing... and learn both Sync and Mastery by yourself, well, there's a reason why the Master's Mark exists and why it does what it does. But should you learn both skills as well as Gates and Revision on top of that, than congratulations, you've become the Academagia equivalent of Tzimisce.

The problem is that to enchant them you need to risk the chaos factor. that and 300 years of wear since most were made means not many items around these days.

by the way, how wild is Gates magic anyway? is it possible that a given person may never in their life have a Gates casting incident caused by the Chaos factor?

Aaran takes Astrology and Geometry (obviously), Dialectic, Negation, History, and then completely flunks his Glamour classes.

Miya takes Athletics, Calligraphy, Grammar, Incantation, Music and Rhetoric.

Louise, it's Arithmetic, Botany, Enchant, Revision, and Zoology- I'm pretty sure the last one is Athletics.

And then Antonio has Arithmetic, Calligraphy, Dialectic, History, Revision, and Rhetoric.

That's from memory, anyway.

Will we see the statue House Grounders erects in favour of Durand in year 2 when the player finished the adventure with the right exit?

Beside is it intended that the adventure say you get thought some special Negation magic and should visit prof. Briardi the next day but the adventure ends right there?

Maybe it is because we get a increase by 10 in the Relationship to her that we should take a Favor.
