A few in game questions

There are many different ways to extend ones lifespan which combine for the spectacular lifetimes, something like "simply" negating your age should preserve fertility completely. Also male fertility never really stops just becomes somewhat low at the later ages. I kind of wonder if the life extending magics means that you'd occasionally have a pregnant female older than 100... I mean it should be possible considering she might be expecting to live past 200.

I imagine established mage families might have a low birth rate for the same reason prosperous countries in the real world have, but there is really nothing stopping them from getting massive families. Heck, all it takes is one male wizard who wants to have many kids and who lives for a few centuries. Should amount to a spectacular amount of descendents. Also you might have a brother who is 100 years older than you.

Are any of the Academagia teachers older than they appear? Are there any famous wizard lines?

The Legate said that there are magics (my personal preference on the term, I don't know about lore-wise) that do not fall under a single pillar but this is thought to be due to a lack of understanding of the rawest fundamentals and expected to fall neatly somewhere when knowledge grows on the subject.

All right but what about Enchant and Orthography those are two important subject of study in Academagia. I know it has been said that since Orthography is not a pillar anymore it is know viewed as a mix of Glamour and Revision, i believe ? same with Enchant i know there is the Revision part but forgot the other one. But still the way those two are studied in Academagia make them look like pillar. There are the main magic skill of two college afterall.

All;

If a person used a Gates related pheme, say.... 'Muscle' in a non-Gates spell to increase ones strength, would the chaos factor show itself?

No, I don't believe so. There are some exceptions, but as a rule, nothing to worry about.

How approving are the faculty on a first, or second year fidgeting with spells and phemes crossing multiple pillars?

I believe it would depend on the person, but in general, approving.

What rights do wizards have in law when discovering a spell in regard to how it is distributed? would a student be strong-armed into revealing any particularly unique spell he discovered while fidgeting with spells and phemes crossing multiple pillars?

Essentially none. That is why many wizards choose to guard their research rather than freely make it available.

Can a person use something else to physically Negate a spell? or must it be a mage's body?

Good question- I think you can use objects, too, if enchanted.

What Magic can be used for editing/reforming existing magic? say examining and adding a single pheme to an existing spell?

Revision, typically.

-don't remember if this question was asked before but... how mages view pillar in regard to magic ? what i mean is do they believe each pillar is completly different to the point that they see each pillar as a "magic" in itself more like how arithmetic and geometry were in those time before being united in mathematics altough there is still a debate in the scientific community if it's mathematic or mathematicS ;) .

So Magics or Magic ?

As noted, pure theory states that the Pillars are distinct and independent. Practical application often blurs the lines very significantly.

- What about those magics that doesn't fall in a pillar? from what i understood the pillar theory has been built so all magic can fall into one of these pillar but some magic like Orthography and Enchant are viewed as a special case apparently almost like pillar themselves? What i mean is what is the position of those two in the magic theory.

It is believed that magic that does not fall in a Pillar is just not understood well enough.

And the "exotic" magics like fae magic are they seen as being a variant of the established pillar or different magic all togheter. (like Human magics with the pillars and Fae magics, Dragon magics etc)

Likewise, it is believed these exotic magics are just not understood well enough to classify, but they could be classified.

These are formalized courses of study because of their importance historically and especially economically. From the point of view of theory, though, they are just derivations of magical law.

I have some questions about Y2.

1. Would there be changes to the prizes of Collegiate Merit of Y2? I ask this, for if there would be no changes, the student who has won every prize in Y1 dosen't need to push herself/himself so hard.

2. Is it possible for a student who didn't enroll the prerequisite course attend to an advanced course if she or he only have high enough skills for the course?

3. I saw Music and Athletics have just the pass/not pass for their grading method because they are extracurricular subjects in Wiki. Does this mean those two courses do not have its own advanced course in future years? Are there any other extracurricular courses besides?

Sorry if these are already asked and answered. And thanks in advance. : )

1. What level of knowledge do specialists generally have outside of their specialty?

2. Is it rare for a mage to have at least a skill level in 10 in all the pillars?

3. When did the concept of "only the strongest mages should attempt to learn Gates" start? (Seeing as how the Academagia taught it to kids back in the day...)

1. How would students be chosen to learn Gates magic, then? I guess Athletics training went hand in hand? But then they're not really powerful mages at that point so much as durable, hehe...

2. How do I ask this without [redacted]....? hmmm. When the Schohanwicht invitation mentions that the player character would recognize the names of Gates masters if they would be mentioned, would us PLAYERS potentially recognize some of the names? :)

3. Regarding holes in the knowledge of forbidden arts... are you going to tackle that in a similar manner to synchronicity? (as separate skill trees associated with but different from the main pillar to learn.)

4. What are the months of the setting named after? Our real world months are technically named after roman emperors, numbers (which became inaccurate after the emperors were inserted.) and even old gods and rites which seem to hold no uniform pattern. I was wondering if there could be some explanation to help understand which month is which better.

edit: 5 .What did the uniforms for Kazus and Ickanix look like? Have the Academagia's uniforms changed much in the time since the banning?

"Entry to the Academagia requires an invitation or a magical seal. From time to time people do sneak out that do not have either of these, but that usually triggers an alarm. All Students and familiar are sealed on their first Day, so they (usually) do not have to worry about the powerful magical security. Even Parents will be turned away."

Does Pamela have the seal? Or did she lose it when she died? And if so did she reacquire one? would she even need one being a ghost?

Perhaps the alarms don't trigger for the undead (of the body-less kind at least), after all there are other ghosts at the Academagia that alarms don't trigger for either, some very old.

Is the seal some kind of magical imprint or an item? If it's an imprint maybe it just sticks with those who died on the grounds.

A while back Schwarzbart asked

Can we get a Glamour Dream Magic and Synchronicity cross over skillset at a later year or at last some bonus effects for having both?

I'm actually curious as to whether the team took a liking to this idea. Also curious whether at least the lore of the "Glamour Dream Magic" can be found in Y1, because I did some looking and found nothing.
